it was interesting reading your comments. karthik u can definitely comment on others' views. that is the main idea of this blog. i cd agree with many of ur view points. Dasavatharam though i didn't hate it on the whole, it was narcisstic and did not need 10 roles. but i cdn't trash it completely. i commented on this movie because as teacher of English we were analysing for text and subtext. for an atheist, who hates God, this was a movie which glorifies God. kabhi alvida na kehna - definitely joins the list. There are many such dumb movies. there were few who were giving comments like as so much money is invested i don't want to say anything bad abt movies, which i think ridiculous. it is like 'emperor's new clothes' if u dont tell the truth such ppl will inflict similar movies on us. With so much money as investment they shd take care with all aspects of movie making.
This week i wd like u all to comment on the group discussion u participated. how was the experience? did u learn anything new abt ur group members?

Madam I cannot forget this class in my lifetime
I really thanks a lot madame for such a great opportunity to

my ambhition is to become one of the top Businessmen in India.. I don know weather it is possible or not..But the great success are achieved only by great Dreams at the initial stage......
One unforgottable and happy
incident happened in the group discussion.I don not know
weather it is a miracle or by-chance event or Lord Muruga's
grace..... I was very excited and happy when mam told me that
i am good in all my aspects except my Language..The reason is
the same comment was passed to a person bofore 25 years.He was
good in every aspects of Communication exept his language.
This was told by a great English scholar after he finish his speech before his investors meeting. Then he refered some book
and he rectified his mistakes.... That is noone but my
philosoher, best teacher, Goal setter , leader , Mr.Thirubai
Ambhani. I am not comparing that Legend with me. But i am very
proud that today i am also getting that same comment what he got.... If anyone makes a single move for my carrier Development i will start praying for them.....Madam, Your words were sooooo worthy.. Atleast for that words i pray god
for your happiness throughout your life.. Thank you very much

Hi friends... Hope you all study the comment which i written
for madam.. This is for you all... I thank Devaki,Rampradeep,Janani, Soman Meyyar and Sukanya to support me and allow me to talk comfortable. Because you people were a very good companion for me... You all did a very good job and i enjoyed the comments from you all. I just love the expressions from Soman Meyyar and the content from Janani and Devaki... And i also like the patience of Sukanya and Rampradeep in listening the points and your replies. This type of practices will be very usefull in our Future. Because in future we may be discussing with the people unknown to each other. So this is the time to develop our GD skills within our friends... So hope we all can develop more. I once again Thank you Ram ,Janan ,Sukan ,Devaki and Somman for an excellent experience.

Hi mam,
I really enjoyed each and every lab class...This is different from other subjects...It will help me to improve my communicetion skills....Coming to Group Discussion,it was a such a nice experienece to me,I really thank mam for giving a nice oppurtunity to discuss..and I thank my group members for supporting me...especially Saranya and Aparna...bcoz I struked to put apt words to complete every sentence...at tat time they helped me,so thank u dear...
I dunno how to express my thoughts in public,this group discussion will definitely help me in future...
I was happy when mam commented about me that u r also good in all aspects but improve your body language(Pen sound disturbed a lot !!!!!!!!!)and Mam told me that u didnt talk at first five minutes...Am sorry mam because I didnt get a chance to talk :( :(..
Finally I conclude tat it s the best class I have never seen .....I love this class and want to participate more in g.d to improve my c.s........THANK U SO MUCH MAM AND MY GROUP MEMBERS.
hello friends,asusual, this week too i enjoyed our lab class. The group discussion (GD) went on really well and i didn't feel any pressure. i've been in some GDs before [im nt bragging frnds ;)] but this one was enjoyable. The post GD - feedback session was really good and mam had some useful comments for the group.
But personally i think, we could've had a mock GD session so that newbies to GD could've got an idea. But we cant blame any as we had very small time. Anyways, answering mam's last 2 questions..
1.its was fun nevertheless. :)
2.Ya, i learned a bit extra about my group members (i think its because of my envy but jai seemed more fatter during the gd)
p.s.after seeing these comments, i think mam will take a crash course on
"how to keep messages as short as possible"
or
"how to post short and sweet comments" ;)

I think Language lab is the best class ever, coz its not only interesting but also very useful.. its helps to improve our communication skills in various aspects..
likewise last week, our group discussion was a great help to us... frankly, I was really excited about the GD coz I have never attended any GD's before.. this one was a new experience for me... Our group's topic was 'capital punishment'(quite an interesting one)and according to me, we as a group did well.. for the first attempt!! but i don't mean to say that we were the best.. coz we too had a lot of flaws... but i hope we as a group or as an individual would have fared well if we had a mock GD as Karthick said.. we would have got to know our shortcomings and would have performed better!!
But I think this is also a kind of lesson for us... we have scope to improve more in the coming classes :)
Since I was with my friends I din't feel out of place or something...in other words I felt much comfortable..but I think this will not be the case in the future.. coz we need to learn how to cope up with all kinds of groups!!
I would like to thank my group members for their support...
And yes I would also like to thank ma'am for her valuable comments..I shall definitely improve on it ma'am!

Hello ppl....... i'll move straight to the subject of discussion here... This was my first ever formal group discussion and i thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it.
It was a whole new experience for me. I really liked the way our discussion went except like ma'am had mentioned we should have organized it in a better and professional way but since all of us were first timers we couldn't put up a perfect show and there’s always scope improvement.
All activities in language lab has always been very useful to us and am sure this one is no less.

last language lab's GD was really interesting and useful. The topic given to us was "Is India safe for Indians". The topic was very nice and everyone could relate to the topic. The interaction between our group members was very good and everyone actively involved in it. The discussion went on well. We had the freedom to put up our views. Every language lab is unforgettable.

The topic for our group was "is india safe for indians?".
this is the first time im in a formal group discussion and the topic was really engaging. In the beginning it was really tough for me to cope up but later i managed well with the help of my team members.
I think i took most of karthik's chances. But he has no issues about it, anyway, thanks to all. The initial idea of g.d itself is commendable. It was such a good opportunity to all of us.
I thank our madam for providing us this platform.
Group discussion turned out to be really nice and helpful than I expected it to be. But the only thing i felt was it would have been really nice if we had had a mock gd becoz only on the actual GD we were realizing our mistakes. Since all my group members are well known to me I was very comfortable. But even though in future wen we get to be in groups of unknown ppl this GD wil definitely help me face any other GDs confidently in future. Another thing I need to mention is tat all the topics given to all the 4 groups were very good. Those topics gave us a lot of scope to speak. If the topics were anything on politics or something like that I hardly would have spoken ;-)
Hi to all its me Swathi, i think i am late to post my scrap, but i am happy that i am posting my comment before my next lab class.... and to say about our GD it was too good and this is my 2nd Gd so i was more comfort to speak out.....
And to say about my team member- Madhu,Prashanth,Senthil,Vivek,
Thirumaran....these guys did their great job... and really my group was very encouraging because of my group only i did my job well....
I think this will help us to face our up coming GD, where ever it dosen't matters.....And a great thnks to my group members u people really have great talent which u have to expose at this time so all the best to all...... And also about the topic... the topic which we got was really easy which made us more comfort to speak out....
And last but not least i would like to thank our mam for this wonderful experience which made us to speak out from our shy and hesitation to speak with all ..... (like one of my group member).... so thnk u mam....

I am too late to enter this blog but i want share my experience on gd. first of all i thank u mam for giving this golden oppurtunity to develop our skills.
ofcourse me and thirumaran had really a problem to express our thoughts but we too did well.we had a nice encouraging group and our ideas on the topic exposed well.
Mam we miss u when we all had a discussion u went off for some other work.we want ur comments.
