Hi friends, happy to write the first comment:-)
I'd like to go about with my comment of the film first and here it is... first of all the film wasn't so amusing!! but of course there were a few good moments but it wasn't hilarious AT ALL!! the characters performed well except for Jamila, the pakistani women...I think, she's overdone her role! And of course there was a lot of racist comments which I personally felt, was not nice!
As far as character's name goes... from what ever I comprehended..
Givani Copello-Italian
Anna Smith- German
Jamila- Indian
Maxmillan-Greek
Taro Nagzumi-Japan
Ranjith Singh-Punjab
Ingrid- Swedish
Daniel-French
Ali Nadim-Pakistani
Chung suli-Chinese
Juan-Spanish
And finally... there is also a similar program aired on NDTV imagine called "angrezi mein kehte hain". Here is the URL if you would like to take a look: http://www.ndtvimagine.com/amk/imagine_about.asp
thank you=)
Hello Ppl... I'll start with their names and nationalities and then move on to my opinion about the series.
Ms.Courtney - Headmistress
Jeromy Brown - Professor ( English obviously!! )
Anna - Germany
Taro - Japan
Maxmillan - Athens , Greece
Jamila Ranja - India
Juan - Italy
Ranjith Singh - Punjab, India
Danielle - France
Gladys - Spain
Ali Nadeem - Lahore, Pakistan
Suli - China
Now my comment :
I quite agree with Bhargavi about the show. Its not a rib tickling comedy show, it does make you laugh but not so much that you'll want to watch it over and over. I've seen better shows than this may be not the same genre but any day better than this.
I personally liked the performances of professor Brown and Ali Nadeem they come as relief when compared to Jamila and Suli.
hi everyone,
First,I would like to list the names and nationalities here it goes....

Jeromy Brown - Professor
Danielle - France
Gladys - Spain
Ali Nadeem - Lahore, Pakistan

my opinion about the serial:
I would not totally disagree with aparna's point of view. But,according to me this serial was quite interesting and it was really fun to watch it.
The portrayal of every character is very good except for jamila and suli.I felt they were unnesscary for serial, their characterisation was also quite heritating.Except for them ,I found the serial was not bad. It is worth, watching it twice.
cheers,
saranya

Comment
The series is Jolly good for those who are seeing it for the first time. But from the comments here, it seems some of the class didnt like it much. Even though it doesn't tickle the rib, grown up kids (!!!) like me enjoyed it (not fully, at least in some parts).
I think it'l be better if we c it in projector.
any supporters????

Good Evening(Gud Heaving for the fans of Jameela Ranja) to all... It was a very nice and entertaining one... I liked very much because as it was played through head phones so that i can clearly listen to the words and their pronunciation. The making of the characters and the artists suited for the characters was really nice. Everyone played their part nice in making fun , fighting with each other, helping each other or even showing their patriotism if anyone tells wrong about their nation etc... Fight between two boys for one girl , giving the answer papers or leaking the question papers(am not sure), not writing the home works reminds our school educational atmosphere. Some make fun by their language and some by their body language.. I really pray god that no other teacher in the world should dace the situation as faced by Prof. Brown. Anyway the class in Room # 5 , Next to corridor was very entertaining. Thank You friends for reading this comment. Sorry if any grammatical or logical mistake made by me.

my comment:
the movie was quite interesting. After watching this episode,i came to know the different accents of pronuncing a word a word in English. I was able to analyse the different cultures. I could understand the effect of our indian language on English.
Hai gals and guys...
wishing u all a a happy week-end.
hey! here's my comment yaar...
Mind your language amused me but not so much. and on the other hand, this is the real situation prevailing in India. Since India is a multi-linguistic country, we have so many accents for a single word. Probably the englishmen would get bemused at the way we speak their language. People... is there anyone to agree or disagree with me?????

My comment on the series,
The screening was enjoyable and different after the theory classes. So I would also join with Swmainathan to thank mam. The show was hilarious to an extend but seemed to be an over dose at certain places. I do agree with mi classmates that making comedy out of sensitive issues like racism and physical appearance is not agreeable. Taro and Juan are my favorite characters. I liked the experience of watching the show with my friends.

the Film may fall under laughter kind of show but its appliable for the mature audiences only...how about the others...
The scripts consists some harsh language like **************,ranjeet and ali(muslims-sikhs fights)....
It'll make you laugh at times but irritates you most of the time...
(+)ves:
1.Mr.Brown's Pronounciation is clean as a whistle. He has good humour sense....
2.Ali Nadim and ranjeet singh screen presence....
3.Roger Kenyon....
(-)ves:
1.harsh language and words...
2.Taro,Anna Schmith ,Juan Cervantes,Chung Su-Li,Jamila Ranjha characterization was bad(wasted)

First, I thank Mrs. Sujatha madam for giving this excellent chance. And made us to now that, as the Land, Sky and Water is begin divided in the world, even though they are same all over the world. Same way 'Pronunciation' of one word is divided among the people of the world.
About the program "Mind your language", the paper work(Script $ Concept) was really good. But, when it came to the acting part, it was kinda not good. Jamila's acting part was Exaggerate. If Jamila's acting part wasn't overacted, i think it would have been as a real situation, bcoz no one will take anything to the class as jamila did. (Director Sir- Next time see to that, u dont add on too many creams for the characters...
Personal word:
The program would have been much more interesting, if there was a character from Middle – East. Their style of pronouncing word is entirely different.
Since I have spoken to african ppl, their pronunciation is really good. They give life to the word by their vibrant pronunciation + gestures…
US ppl pronunciation is well fashioned and times its difficult to trace it…
Hi frndz, Sorry for the late, now only i have aright time to post my comment, First i would like to thank mam for making class enjoyable "thank u mam", k let c the characters

The characterization was very nice in it, every one played their part nice, especially Ali, Ranjith singh's body language was xtraordinary, but Jamila character irritates me, most scenes were packed with timing comedies.
The fighting for a gal, late coming Ranjith, canteen scenes, reminds my past days. Totally it was nice, and also it was a new xperience 4r me,
If any grammatical or any other mistakes a one thousand apologies for that.
Thanx frndz..

comments about this comic movie(different movie with different characters)
First of all i would like to applause for this movie director ,because its not easy to make a movie especially comic movie ,whether the movie is good or not its next thing.as a human being i enjoyed a lot ,but when it comes to a comment or review i felt bad because in this movie in certain situation more futile words were used ,its not necessary to make comedy by using futile words only..
and of course there was a lot of racist comments which i felt .......
charming character done by MR.Brown
cherish character done by all of them but except that "Jamila"
and i dont want to say i agree with that guy and i disagree with that guy, because this is comment it shows our individuality.
my simple concise about this movie
"ITS DIFFERENT" and "NOT BAD"
namaste to all

hi friends.. I am sure that you all have a bright future.. Because each and everyone is different from others. That uniqueness is expected from us by everyone.... All the best Guys & Girls.....
On my point of view i laughed much... I liked the body language done by prof. Brown... He really teaches us through his situation that before entering in anything we should analyze... After entering Mr. Brown is struggling.. And the students are really enjoying their evening class.. Each one cannot understand what others speaking.. There are also silly fights within them for girl, nationality, and their personal issues.. Among everyone Jamila's character and her performance was irritating for me... And others are also nice. From this we can find the culture of other nationalities... Especially we can see that Japanese Old man giving respect each and every time for the professor... I think that respect is the reason for the development of Japan... And Ali-Singh fights and all nice. But it should not be true.. (Hindu-Muslim needs Brotherhood at this time..) And others played their given part nice. Really Language lab rocks.. Hope it will continue in the forth coming classes....
I am eager to write the comments for them also...
Thanking YOu....
Always Yours...
JaiShankar @ Jai.......

iI saw the movie for the first time so i enjoyed it well.the charectors involved in this play are qiuite appriciatable one. even they completely dont know about the language they are free to speech on their own way and correct their mistakes.expecially ali nadim pronounces the words incorrectly and rectify it on the guidence of the professor.i thought for us also it is very useful in class hours.
